Harvest Festival

Cubs and Beavers took part in a parade with Guides,Brownies and Rainbows, at St Johns Church Lakenham today for Harvest Festival. They also helped tell the story of our food that was the main part of the service. Their singing helped to make it a great occasion. The sun shone on us all as we left the church.

A Night in the Woods!!

Tonight we met at Whitlingham down by the river. There was a slight hitch in the logistics when getting cars at each end of the hike route, Helen jumped out of her car to see her lift disappearing! I met her running down the road!!
We split into two groups, one went on the Low Ropes with Ali, Dom, Andy and Carol, the others had a game of Raiders of the Lost Ark on the boat climbing frame with Charles and Helen.
By 7.30 torches were definitely needed when we set off to walk back to the Visitor centre. There was no chance to hear or see any wildlife because it all ran away as we approached!!
We counted them all out (21) and counted them all back and handed them over to their grown ups at 8.15pm
A great night out!
